suspension help **urgent**

Right was lowering a friends Mk2 172 tonight. Got most of it done till the drivers front shock, the allen key burst inside the top of the strut.

Ideas on how to get it out. Its alos turned a little inside it so its kind of wedged,

could try drilling a small hole in whats left of it , then screwing a crew into it and pulling it out.

easiest way is use a inpact gun, so u wont need a allen key

I think ill take it into my work tommorow and use the gun there. Just hope it comes off. Looks really good on one side. . lol

yey! I snapped an alen key too but it didnt round first so just came out, really wedged?

i had the same probs...goto a garage they have an impact gun......or windy gun.....they will loosen it for free....
