Right i have a 182 CUP and i have bought 172cup turinis I am going to lower the car in a few weeks but i have been told the offset is diferent so I cant lower it on turinis? Is this true as i thought the CUP suspention set ups were the same ? Sorry if this is a common question just i'm not very good with this type of thing ?

Re: suspention / whell offset help please

182 offset is et45, 172 cup turinis will have an offset of around et38 at a guess. This will mean your turinis will sit 7/8mm further out in the arches.
If you lower the car too far then the edge of the tyre could come into contact with the lip of the arch.

Should be fine, Sportlines don't lower anywhere near that much on the RS Clio's.
