Suzuki alto: clicking/clacking full lock acceleration only

I know this is a Clio section but if mods could allow this one thread I need help with my girlfriends car please.

We experienced a clicking/clacking on turning corners when accelerating, i discovered the drivers CV boot was split, and i also decided to replace both track ends either side and have the wheel alignment checked, that was fine, the CV boot was also changed and grease was cleaned slightly and repacked into the CV joint.

The problem with the clacking on full lock still exists. I initially thought it was the drivers CV joint and still could be but it doesn't sound like its coming from there. I tested turning right full lock, the clacking only happens on acceleration blips, the same happens full lock left on acceleration blips, not when just coasting

I notice when doing the work on the car the Suzuki has a lower control arm that looks like this:

On the right side of the picture the bushes that connect to the frame of the car looked perished, would anyone think that would be the noise? I haven't had time yet to put a bar between the ball joint on either side and check for slack but the noise doesn't really sound like that.

Any help please?

Edit; wrong section as well, s**t :dapprove:

To be honest id still say cv joint - it could be that arm cracking as the arm is moving due to the bush, but cv joints do tend to make noise when load is pushed on, on light throttle you probably won't hear it, but under load it will knock, or 'clack'

Cheers for the response, yeah I just don't know what to go for at the moment, I want the car running good its facing a few months of solid motorway driving soon away from home so I dont need anything going wrong where I cant get to it.

The drivers CV boot was split for a while i only found it about a month after the girlfriend told me there was a slightly clicking, i thought it might be the track rod so didnt bother to look until the noise was louder the tear in the boot wasnt that bad some grease had leaked out but there was still plenty in the boot. The passenger side is where the noise sounds like its coming from tbh and more so underneath the car than either side, maybe a video will help ill try and get one later.

Edit: is there any way i can test without the car moving? front end up into the air and spin the wheels at an angle?

Not really mate, as it normally needs to be under load.

Bear in mind too that it's not ok if there is still grease in it, it would have had a while of dirt, grit etc washed in with the grease

Yeah I see what you mean mate, it just sounds like its not from that area, could be the other side too :\

Will have to replace the drivers cv but I just think i might end up still needing to do the lower control arms, I guess ill end up having to do the lot!

I've had a look at the Suzuki again today, running out of time for fixing it because the girlfriend will be away from home for 5 weeks, I've driven it and moved the wheel to hear for noise, the only part i can feel a click in and now think the problem lies with is the drivers inner tie rod.

I've had my finger in the joint and i can feel movement and clicking, If someone can listen to the video and back my theory up id appreciate it, its just a noise on the video, nothing to watch.

I have a feeling i might be able to change the inner rod on the Suzuki because there's access to get to it unlike my 182?

I think my describing of clacking earlier was wrong and would have sounded to anyone who couldn't hear it like the outer CV, but i think there fine.
