Swapping ECU's?

If you change the Ecu then you need to change the following:
UCH
Key
Decoder Ring
Ignition Barrel
Door locks
Fuel cap
Reason beeing the Key is matched to the Ecu, im not sure about re-configureing the key you have not to the new Ecu, but it will cost you a fair amount to do,

You sure you need to change the ignition barrel, door locks, and fuel flap? Couldn't you just change the key blade..?

It's really not worth it! I only asked as my cup was remapped... I was thinking I could just swap the ecu over... I didn't even think about the coded keys syncing with the ecu!
