Swapping electric sunroof for manual

Hi folks, this is my first post. Bought a 1.9 dti Clio x reg, the electric sunroof guide rail is goosed so was thinking of swapping to a manual as there's loads on eBay and a lot cheaper. Question is would this be a straight swap for a manual after taking whole thing out or would the hole etc be different.

Kind regards,Jim

I don't see the point... would probs be easier/cheaper just to repair the electric one! Besides it's a very nice feature for the car to have!

It needs a whole new unit and can't be repaired, Im happy enough to put a manual one in but just need to make sure it will fit straight in.

Ahh I'm not sure sorry, I stupidly just assumed you had a phase 2 haha, I forget the old phase 1s could get an electric roof.
However, I'd ask a local (honest) garage for a quote as they'll be able to get on the phone there an then and sort you a price. Where abouts are you? If you're in the south-west, give these guys a call, they're by far the cheapest I know of and actually went out their way to cut a quote Renault give me in half!
