swapping standard seats for clio sports seats

  RB 182
as per title... i was wondering if any problems would occur as i know when you put in bucket seats you have to get resistors however i don't know if this is the same for sport seats? and also do the sport seats just go straight into the sub frame from standard seats or would i have to buy a specific frame for clio sport seat? I was thinking of choosing sport seats over bucket seat seen as i still want access to the back so i would need recling bucket seats and for them and the specific sub frame, from a quick look, cost a hell of a lot unless some one can point me in the direction of some cheaper ones?
thanks to any help :)

Don't think so mate should all just be plug in and play so to speak.

unless you don't have airbags in your current seats, like if its a 1.2 8v campus or something you shouldn't have a problem.

Think it says on the side bolster of the seats? maybe an oval patch that says airbag

im not 100% sure but thats the best place to look.

or there may be a little tag on the seat that says airbag. just go have a look about your seat see if you notice anything that says airbag.

thanks for the advice :) i found it, it has aurbag in a small oval on the side of the chair ... so does this meen that the standard ones will come straight out and the sport ones straight in onto the same frame>?

yeah should all be fine. 4 bolts underneath the car to get seats out

only problem i had was undoing the clip underneath the seat it was a pain in the ass. but should be fine with some persistence.

different connectors so they wouldnt plug in, resulting in the airbag/service light coming on. would need resisitors somewhere is suppose to fix that.

only other thing is, you have a ph2, if you put ph1 seats in it, they will fit but the wires are diffferent and dont plug in so will need resistors ( this is what i did, ph1 seats in ph2).

but either way they will fit and the lights dont matter anyway, dont cause no problems at MOT time. just depends if they annoy you, ive got used to it now
