"swimming pool" in passenger footwell 182

This morning i notice that there is water in the passenger front footwell of my 182 cup. Does anyone know if this is "another" common fault or have an idea where it may have come from

no its been too cold to open them (i'm surprised the windows still work after the winter. Thinking about it, i'd better check they still open LOL)

the seal around the door could be the problem?
When my alarm man refitted the seal around the top of the door, it just wasn't on properly & I bought some goldfish to have a play in the footwell for a week or two...

check under the passengers seat, ive heard of a couple who found water coming through holes under the seat
