System 32 box on start-up.

Got XP and think i had a virus but got rid but now everytime i start the computor and log on as me when the page loads i get an explorer box open which is system 32 folder.

Once my deskpop is loaded and i X it closed machine work normal.

How do i get rid of this...?

You mean when you logon, Eplorer opens displaying the contents of System 32?

Only reason I can think for that is it's in the startup section for some reason.

If you don't want to mess around yourself you may find one of these tuneup utilites may do it for you. Like the trial of this: http://www.tune-up.com/download/tu2006/

Think you get 30 days use or something. (Yes seb i'm pushing it again )

start > run > msconfig > startup

see if there's anything in there that's trying to start that has been uninstalled/deleted.

Also have a look in your startup menu on the start button and see if there's any suspects in there either.
