Tacho Wiring

I am fitting a tacho (One of the aftermarket 7 colour ones)to an M reg RL and I am a little confused about the wiring. Its just the green wire from it is meant to go to tacho source? where is this? I have read on here that the wires are already behind the clocks?

I looked behind the clocks and there is a plug with an Orange and a White wire, can I wire to one of these? which one is it? Or both? If not where is it wired to?

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated

the two wires ur talking about clips directly into the standard 1.4 clocks, and with ur 1995 version, the clocks will work straight off. Speedo maybe slightly out tho.

OK cheers mate, really wanna get yje coloured one wired up tho. Any ideas where to get 1.4 clocks from? Im in Sheffield. How much do they cost roughly?

I paid £25 from breakers for some 1.4 S Clocks..

Got mine for £15 from a local scrappy, varies at each scrappy.

Scrappies are the best place to get ones from. You might want to try and change the milage too.
