Taking tension off aux belt

Anybody got any advise on taking the tension off the belt to change the alternator?

All alternator bolts slackened off no issues but now struggling. Got a 3/8th square drive tool on flat bar but cant get into tensioner.

Any advise or photos be greatly apprechiated

Big jubilee clip on the tensioner spring. Job done.

how long has the tensioner been on for? seen the cease up pretty quick.
