Hi Guys,I\'m 6\'5 tall and own a 2002 172. I\'ve had it a few months now and am finding that I\'m slouching in the seat far too much cos if I sit up straight then my view isn\'t that great. I also find the seat feels a bit small and certainly isn\'t as supportive as the ones in my impreza. I would however be quite happy with the standard seat if I could lower it about 4-5 inches. However I don\'t really want to modify the standard seat as I\'d like to sell the car without any bodges.Just wondering about bucket seats and how much I would have to spend. I still want to be able to recline the seats. How many of you guys have put in bucket seats? Did you use the standard sub frames? What kind of stuff is available that comes with its own sub frames that are lower? Anyone done this??Are the cup seats lower than the normal ones? or just the same?Thanks for any advice guys.Steve

im 6ft 2 and have cobra misanos, they are far better than the original seats and the seating position is perfect for my height 
i tried the trophy recaros but they were still too high for my height and my liking
the misanos offer great support and make driving far more comfortable for me
with the standard seats i found that i was sitting way too high in the car and my legs felt cramped around the sides of the steering wheel
i dont have this problem at all with the misanos
the misanos come with cobra subframes which allow you to sit even lower
oh yeah and the misanos are recliners so you can still get back seat access (even tho no1 can fit behind me lol) and they have the lever to slide forwards and backwards as well.

i was nearly in pain during the first few trips in my misanos lol
it felt like sitting in those old plastic school chairs which were curved for 'better posture'. you know the ones that u could happily slouch in all day long but when shouted at by a teacher to sit up straight they absolutly caned due to the years of slouching abuse on your back :clown:
i found i was always slouching in the standard seats and the misanos are like the 'correctional' seats lol. they are fine now and are really comfortable (now that my question mark spine has straightened out lol)
they are really supportive and feel so much better for my back

yer well, ive sat in a set of them before and im not small i have massive legs and upper body, and i fort i was gonna ave to get cut out of the seat lol not so good if ur a big chap, they definately held me in firmly, but more for the fact i was to big for em lol

Found them. They look fantastic but I didn't really want to spend that much! I was thinking around £400.
