tarting up the engine

just painted my cover and now i want a strut brace, batt cover and alloy expantion tank. can i just use an alloy expantion tank for a r5 gt turbo or not?

there's a few on ebay for both the clio and the 5.

Pipework looks identical; 2x large connections at the bottom and 1x smaller connection at the top. BUT the 5 tank has the mount at the rear and the clio mount is to the left hand side

How do you go about preparing/painting the engine cover & what paint do I need for a deep black 182?

How do you go about preparing/painting the engine cover & what paint do I need for a deep black 182?

i just grey scotch brighted the cover to key it the gave it a GOOD clean with solvent based panel wipe, then sprayed it the base coat (the colour) followed by the laquer. im lucky tho because i did it at work whilst another car was being painted so it didnt cost me anything but if you take it to a body shop i dont think it would be alot to0 be honest.
