TDC sensor hole in gearbox. Help...

This f**king box change is a nightmare. I have 2 TDC sensors because I run standalone. The gearbox cut out is too small on the new box, the old one had the sides filed to accept them. This wouldnt be a problem, exept Ive put the box on the car now so can I file the sensors down slightly or are they only covered by a thin layer of plastic? I need about a mm/2mm of each??

Dont file the sensors! lol

If your careful you could modify the box opening with a grinder and a vacuum.....imo its the better choice.

Ben, thinking of putting double sided sticky tape in the hole and dremelling carefully?

just get someone to hold a vacuum next to it whilst your doing it.

Couldnt believe it, tried fitting it and then it dawned on me, having fitted everything bar the wiring loom and brakes. FFS.
