Telephone Engineer Req'd Urgent

Hi Guys

I am on NTL. I have just had an extension built on my house. I had to remove the grey box and wires from the wall because they would be in the way.
So i wrote down the colours of the wires and where they went. I have now reconnected it all, and yes you've guessed it my phone dont work.
I have checked and double checked that i have reconnected everything as it was but to no avail.
Can anyone out there help? Any help would be very much appreciated.

what type of wires is it mate internal or external ?

Im prob being a bit thick here, but what do you mean by internal or external.
