Test drive the clio 197

Well I made another thread again cos last night was a mess & I told mods to remove it.

I tell you what it all about.....
For the last few months I be thinking in my head to get one. I'm going to test drive two 197 tomorrow at renault dealer near me. To see if I like or not & if any good for my hearing. The one have standard seats & other one have recaro seats to see which I like. My mk2 clio Rsi is great car but want somethings for change & I would be gutted if it go. Only reason why I brought the RSi last year cos I want to save money for a better one & no chance for me getting a clio V6, so no coment for that.

I'm going to keep my finger cross to buy one & pick the best colour too.

Yes. If it's the one at Holdcroft it's their ex demo. Very good price though. It's also got cornering lights, 4 speaker stereo and rear tints.

They offered me a crap p/x on mine. If anyone wants it they can have it for £9k. lol

ah right I know what you mean. Yes can get recaros seats in clio 197 in red but that in options. I testing black 197 with recaros seats & blue with standard seats. To have a go which is better!

hardly what i would call a mess. You wouldn't say what you were testing so people were just trying to guess what car it was... chill out mate.

i would wait for the 197 cup, which is certain to be a better drivers car.

thought the cup chassis was on option........ ie an R27 chassis, but not the recaros/limited no of the R27. Not the true cup if you will

Iv just bought a 197 in racing blue. Pick it up tomorrow and then driving it to Brugge for the weekend! I got confused with the lights.... why they cant just supply all 197's with xenons beats me!!! They do 'standard', 'sport-cornering lights' (which mines got) and xenons!! Just another way of making money!!

Normal aic-con is just an on/off button.

digital climate control is like what the 182 has...with a temperature readout etc.
