Testing the water - my 1.4 alize 01 reg

Heya guys,

Just wondering what you all think my renaul clio would be worth

its a 1.4 16V clio 2001 reg, old style headlights, mk2 phase 1 i think

its done 45k no mods, good nick except for small dent on left hand wing (by the door) where my sister bumped it whilst parking.

Thinking of selling and getting a 1.6 tbh... more power.

£3.5k seems a little steep?
I only paid £4k for mine in Sep 04 with 33k on the clock. Mine's a jan 2001 X-plate.

IMHO I don't reckon for the extra cost that there's much of a difference in performance (I guess that's what you're after a getting a 1.6?) over the 1.4, the 1.4 has 98bhp and the 1.6 105bhp?

nahh its not a power thing, i have been thinking of modding my car recently.. but for the cost of modding it, i may as well get a car that is already modded and without a dent in the side (which im thinking will require a respray to get rid of)

I was think of getting a newer 1.4 or 1.6.. thats all.

About £1950 max...Its 5 years old with high mileage. Go to parkers or what car and they'll give you what its worth for private, trade or part x....but don't be surprised it its worth less.

I'd say put it up for £2.5k.

Thanks guys, mine was just a shot in the dark really..

I looked on parkers it says 2.6k poor condt and 3.5k good condt..

so id say about 2,9k as its fantastic nick.. minus the dent..

Although id say that 45k is NOT high mileage.

It's a good spec car and if good condition you should easily get 2.5k imo

I would still want near 2.5k for mine and it's a 2000 V with 60k miles. Very good condition tho with some subtle mods.

Although BigYin only got something like £1800 as a trade in for his Alize (T reg I think) and it had only done 30k miles!
