Teves or Lucas

Hi all.

Ive got a Mk4 TCe 0.9 which Im looking at replacing the front pads but there are 2 options on eurocarparts.

Is there a way of telling whether the car has either Teves or Lucas brakiing systems? Is there anything to look out for? or markings?

Im not mechanically minded but i think its about time i gave this basic job a shot.

Wouldn’t worry too much about brand. They will both be pretty average. As long as they are both the right shape I’d personally lean towards Lucas. @George@RTR_Parts could help you find the right ones.

they’ll be markings on the caliper @brisa4984 , or PM me your reg and i can check for you . I can supply various pad options , OE Renault, Brembo, Mintex to name a few

yeah i need some brake discs and pads too ...brembo option showing me 2 choice ...on is nearly dbl the prie but unsure if my 0.9 TCe 2017 is lucas or Teves braking
