the best all round tyres?

ive had a set of 205/40 17 proxey 4s on my car now for a year, im needing to replace the front as they are worn on the outside:eek: im pretty happy with them overall but i fancy achange as i dont think they keep to the rim very well, any suggestions

in the wet the toyos will grip then with no warning at all will just let goits terrible i think i will try f1's the yoko ones always seem a bit soft and faster wearing, i had yoko Ao38 on my mini were fantastic till it got wet lol

Toyo T1Rs are the best for ALL ROUND performance IMO.

that being traction, road noise and service life, and they look sporty too.

hmm didnt think bout the t1s i had some on my origanal 15s that came with the clio they were quite good same problems as the proxes tho:dapprove:

If they're wearing on the outside mate you got a tracking problem, either that or your doing an ayrton senna round the corners lol.

Is it just the outside wearing out (excessive toe-in) or wearing on both outer edges (under-inflation).

Had my T1Rs for over 25,000miles now and they still look practically new tread wise.

the car has been tracked up,i think its cos i like roundabouts, ive had mine for 20,000 now. conti sport contacts are a little too dear they wear quick too

ive never had experience of avon tyres, my dad had some avon zz3 put on his merc today tread pattern looks good and tons of grip price wasnt to shabby either

Ditto this man!

Conti sports were great in the dry but shocking in the wet imo! Nothing compared two those two mentioned above.... But im a fan of the F1's over the PE2's. Maybe it's just the sexy tyre tread pattern lol!
