The Cars Spotted Appreciation Thread

Spotted a mitsubishi 3000 gt last week. Values seem to finally be creeping up on them looking on ebay.
there's a guy near me with about 4 of those.

I found his dog a couple of years ago, and when he came to get it he wouldn't shut up about his cars. Telling me about which versions he's got and how rare they are.

Always loved the EK9 Type R
Don’t see so many about now.

Wonderful things, I came within about 20 minutes of owning a VSM facelift EK9 with all the trimmings back in 2007. Back when Tegiwa were an import company, they were delivering it to me and a Norbert Dentressangle wagon stuffed the back in on their way down. :(

CE28s, Ohlins, RM01A, if it worked out the way it was supposed to I'd probably still own it!

One of my friends bought an EK9 Type R a few years back for about £5k, it was pretty rough. Couple of years later the engine packed in and it's been parked in his garage ever since, best bet it'll still be worth more than what he paid even in it's current state!

996 Turbo cab in Hull on Saturday, reg "X50 POA", I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he must have the X50 power kit on it. Shame he looked like his hard drive needed a check.

Also, in other news I was bought a "driving experience" 👀🤦‍♂️ and I thought, "Oooo, 911 GT3 RS, I'll pick that". Tell me whats wrong.

Absolute bag of s**t Carrera with a GT3 wing, front bumper and wheels. Every light going on the dash, sheddy interior, cracked windscreen, a tiptronic gearbox thats seen better days.

Always fancied one of those, never seems to be any decent ones up for sale though.
Did they all have those gash gloss black fins stuck to the front bumper, or was that just a popular aftermarket addition?

There was one doing the rounds on Facebook a month or so back but he wanted £6k for it. Seriously strong money given it had about 130,000 on it

Yeah that was the same conclusion I came to as well. Always 100k+ and £5k+ if it looked half decent, seems a lot for a 330, but I like them a lot more than a regular one. Man maths says you may as well get an M3.

I'd rather have a clean, standard facelift e46 330ci tbh. The Clubsport spoiler is ultra pish. Its the same engine and suspension too IIRC.

The facelift has the funny headlights doesn't it? Always prefered the front end of the earlier cars I think, the ones with the M3 type headlights. Probably an easy swap mind.

Pre-facelift on an M3, yes. Not on a standard car tho, I think it really ages them. Post facelift is so much nicer.

I miss my E46 it was comfy and reliable, until the rear end went wrong and I had to scrap it, also the dog started to struggle with jumping in the boot and kept smashing his nuts off the bumper.

Have you never tried having like a plank or something with getting them in the back when they get a bit older?
