Except for the army of Model 3 Tesla's you see absolutely everywhere.

I think it's funny that everyone is rushing to produce ever greater numbers of big SUV's, because "that's what people want"
Tesla did produce a big SUV, no-one wanted it. Then they made a medium sized saloon, got the price/spec correct and sold more of them than all their competitors put together.
I think in the UK they sold nearly 3 times as many model Y's 🤮 in 2023 than model 3's.

surely the main reason the 3 was such a success was down to the tesla changing network?... and that the Y wasn't available at that time.

What I don't understand about Ford is that they're releasing cars that all do basically the same job. In the last few years, they've released the Mustang Mach-E, the electric Explorer and now this Capri. They're all a similar size and all a similar price, so how are they doing anything other than competing with themselves?

I genuinely think that, within 10 years, Ford will only be selling vans and pick-ups in Europe. They've made a monumental c**k-up of their car business in the last five years.
The government didn't help but I agree, they, from a position of strength, Fiesta, Puma, Focus, Kuga, they went on to build 3 of almost the exact same car.

Who knows where they go next.

And then they produced the model y on the same platform. And that outsells the model 3 iirc.

And Tesla are a bit of unique case because of the infrastructure. I don’t like them. The styling is forgettable, the interiors aren’t nice and the quality is poor. But it’s still the only ev I’d really consider because of the charging network. They must feel so smug driving past the plebs queuing for the normal chargers, and pulling into one of the 30 available superchargers.
