I spotted a lancer EVO wagon the other day

Evo variant was only available in the later Evo 9 model. IMO once you get over the novelty, it's abit niche.

The Scooby had been available as a wagon for ages, sold well at the time but it's not the one people are after these days.

Yeah it wouldn't be my choice of evo. Still, a rare spot out on the roads.

That's the main reason I didn't buy a Wagon in the end, not big enough for the dog without the seats down.

I haven't had back seats for 20 years, which is why I bought an E46 Touring because a wrx was too small, the boot on those is no bigger than a Golf, but the dogs legs are f*cked so I'm back to no back seats in a hatchback again.

We were there that day, this thing looked 100% standard from 30ft away, it was only when it went out that we heard it was a bit fruity. Was going well too!

Didn't know he'd done the engine, although one of our group did exactly the same to his 996 mid-afternoon. The vibration through the passenger seat when it went was sickening.

Someone else was looking at it as I went past it and he didn’t have a clue either.
Does anyone know what it is? I don’t even recognise the badge.

Yeah the MOT certificate was on the passenger seat saying it's an A5, looks like it's an S5 by the BHP. Just not a clue what it actually is.

Found another pic of it on Google, from 2011 in Monaco, so I assume it must be a proper one. Crazy money.

They seem to have invented some of the specs there:

mid-mounted 5.0-liter V10 engine
carbon fiber monocoque chassis
Luxurious cabin that can seat two passengers.

I'm pretty sure it's got seats in the rear, which probably means it can't run a mid-mount a V-10, and if it had a carbon fibre chassis, I doubt they'd be allowed to register it as an A5.
