...The gap.. *Strange pic request*

Ok, i heard that if you put a RS front bumper on standard wings, they leave a little gap and dont sit flush? Just a pic request on how bad that 'gap' is? probably get no replies but no harm in trying :p

The RS front end is about 2 inches wider in total so the bumper overhangs the wings an inch on either side. The gap you are referring to is when the bumper is made to fit the non-sport wings, distorting it. Have a look at dutty_112's posts and possibly R8 FTW as they both had non-RS wings on originally.

Just realised, which phase is this? Phase 2 is as I said, not sure about phase 1?

this is the gap in question on a car with non-RS wings which has had a RS bumper altered to fit;

Jamie (R8 FTW!) filled the gap with silicone sealant from memory to make it less obvious.

So it just has to be made a lil smaller then? by about how much? Thanks VERY much for the pics! just needed a brief idea on what it would look like if it went wrong? (not saying that went awful lol)
