I used my 'big stopper' (the 10 stop filter)

I cant remember what the settings were exactly, I'm updating my blog at the moment, what I will be doing as well is putting the exif info there too. Will get that done this evening

It was probably around 2 minutes exposure I think.

Thanks Luke. Graduated ND filters are a must for landscape. And for exposure like that, you'll need a 10 stop filter.

The 10 stop filter, is it a Lee filter Dan?

Mine is yes, but they are as rare as rocking horse s**t at the moment. Expect 3-4 months wait for one, if not longer!

B+W do a screw in 10 stop filter (I'm pretty sure), and there are other companies that do 10 stop slot in filters. Hitech do one, but it isnt quite as good as the LEE filter. See here for examples: http://blog.robertstrachan.com/archives/844/lee-big-stopper-hitech-10-stop-nd-filter-review/
