Thing is, if your mrs was glued to her phone watching films, playing games etc then it'd last a few hours.
I've just had a new battery in my Nexus 6 and will get 1.5- 2 days out with moderate use with screen on half brightness etc.
As soon as I up the brightness and watch videos, play games etc then it'll go to about 6 hours.
The leaked Pixel xl 2 or whatever it will be called looks good. Not sure what I'll do at the end of my contract now (Nov) as the Nexus is still more than good enough. Probably go to a sim only deal and then upgrade he phone in the future.
I had looked at the new Sony but the guy in the shop said he'd had issues with his and it was common faults.
The new Huweii and the LG G6 I think were looking decent also.
Haha. My new battery has made my Nexus 6 brand new again.Depending on the specs and price of the Pixel 2, i might get one and you can have my Pixel XL for a good price
Cheers, not one of these dodgy back street places that can do it instantly?Probably by going to Vodafone.
Says online it can take up to 10 days. Might be quicker if you go to a store.
Vodafone is normally only a day or so. They say it "can" take up to 10 days if they need to contact the manufacture.Probably not the right place to post this but, we had an iPhone as an upgrade and it was tied to Vodafone.
Been sat in a drawer for 8-12 months and little un just got given it for her birthday. Its locked to Vodafone and we have a CW £5 sim on HI or something.
Whats the quickest way of me getting the phone unlocked?

I dropped my phone down a flight of stairs once and the screen looked just like that after.Anyone getting the Essential Phone? Designed by the original Android team or something...

So for a good 4/5 years now I've been on a sim only deal that costs me £24 a month and bought my own phone each time.
However with the Google phones now being almost the same price as an iPhone it's actually cheaper to go on a contract with the phone included. So I'm waiting on the Pixel XL 2 I think. Then I'll make the move.
Unlimited everything. It's an old one with 3 and I don't want to get rid of it because you can't get the same deal anymore. It's another £10 a month last time I checked. I also have the extra tethering allowance which made it more expensive too.£24 on sim only? Guessing you have a lot of data with that?
Mine is £11 on EE with Unlimited texts, calls and 8GB of data.

Should be a really nice phone mate.So for a good 4/5 years now I've been on a sim only deal that costs me £24 a month and bought my own phone each time.

You don't have to do that in fairness. They have an app that just drags all the iCloud stuff over. Then your phone will just back itself up later to Google.
The sheer amount of customisation allowed is why I couldn't possibly return to apple.
It's worth noting mate that Google drive won't actually reduce the file size on 99% of phone photos. The photos are only reduced if they're above 16MP. Videos above 1080p. So unless you're taking photos with a proper camera or 4K video or anything you're as well just using that option for photo backup as it's unlimited free space!Yeah I need the stuff up in the cloud for now though as I don't have a memory card yet and wouldn't have had the space on my phone being only 64gb. Same reason I couldn't just upload the images from my iphone straight to google photos app as the iphone reduced the quality of the pictures to take up less storage space and I wanted the images to be the full file size.
