Lol, they concentrated on the actual physics rather than making it look pretty. There are plenty of arcade games out there if you want pretty graphics.

And annoyingly for those that notice - yes that's a white PCI-E cable, my old 7970 Lightning required 2x 8-pin, this one requires 1x 6pin and 1x 8pin, so only spare one I had was a white one from my previous coloured build.
How is the R9 290 coping?

The 290 seems awesome bang for buck, I may well slip it into my Christmas build instead of a 780/290X!
Highest I've seen is 56C under load, BF4 is now fantastically smooth - I get roughly 100minimum fps, was at Low at first and got 200 in most places! I need to buy a DisplayPort->MiniDisplayPort to get my third monitor working though.
Clocked at 1100/5500 currently.
For the sake of £100 and ~5% performance increase (the 290 is actually performing BETTER than the 290X in latest drivers not out yet), I didn't see the point.
Comparing water temps from my 7970 Lightning OC'd to my 290X, watertemps under load have gone up 3C from 36C to 39C, doesn't seem to have affected anything else much, so it's definitely a hotter card, but still adequate cooling.
I have better pics which I'll post shortly, really nice card imo for the price - I can sell my 7970 Lightning for £190 posted (if anyone wants it let me know), so all in all a fairly cheap and worthwhile upgrade.

Just bagged a wc kit off ebay for £100 posted, pretty good deal. Comes with XSPC D5 pump/dual bay res - XSPC Raystorm cpu block and XSPC EX240 radiator. From OCUK the kit would cost nigh on £250!
Just need some fittings, tube and fans.

Tempted to buy some more fans, I've got a full dust filter kit which is magnetic to my case, but if I had 3 more fans on my 360 for push/pull, I'd need to add some magnets for it to work as the fans would be outside the case frame (but still not visible due to a facia).
Anyone know the sizing of holes that the case fans have for screws? If I can get magnets the same size then problem solved!

I dont nah, but what about some magnetic tape around the fan frame? I used some when i modded my silverstone ft02 case to fit the filters magnetically to the bottom underside of case, due to fitting a 3x180mm radiator

For an arcadey type game - if you like Guitar Hero - take a look at Osu! it's a mouse/keyboard based guitar-hero style game, really good.

Fitting some more GT's to my front 360 rad today (5 in total on the 360 rad and 2 on the 240 rad), so thought I'd just take a quick look and see how the dust filters are getting that I got 3 weeks ago.

Super Clocked ones. Only 3GB is slightly disappointing but I think we'll see some 4.5/6GB ones soon. Might keep hold all of the Titans for a wee while I reckon we'll be seeing them fairly sort after now with next gen picking up.

3 Titans / 780Tis is a huge bottleneck on the CPU. Think someone worked out you'd need an ivy/haswell equivalent hex core at 7Ghz to remove it!
