Further to this thread (http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=266202), after a week or so messing around with wet and dry, silver paint and lacquer, the final results (apologies for the crap pic's):

They're on the way flower. A nice new set of Yoko' S-Drives. The Turinis need some TLC first though.

I think mine were poorly refurbed. When I bought them, I was told three had already been done but they were already chipping.

The A539's haven't helped as, as you can see from the picture, the rim is majorly exposed. I thinkthe rim actually touches the tarmac when cornering really hard as i've only ever kerbed one wheel but the rest are fooked.

Would'nt surprise me actually, theres no tyre on the edge of the rim at all! They might have been wet sprayed as a pose to powder coated, hence not lasting long?
Just not the same without them on

Those A539's looked shagged! Am i right in thinking these arnt made anymore? What the next best? I always like my Toyos on my FRP Zetec-S.

It's my crappy K800i, bag-o-shite.

The A539's weren't quite as bad until this morning when I went out for a little 'spirited driving'. I've heard that they have been discontinued so went for a set of Yoko S-Drives instead (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2x-195-45-16-...ryZ9891QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). They are the replacements for the A539's AFAIK. I got 4 for £175 delivered.
