The Wheel Specialist's version of Anthracite

Not sure which section to put this in.

After reading a few threads on here the best "off the shelf" colour match to Renault's Anthracite colour is the one Halfords do called "Rover Stone Grey".

My question is, is the "Rover Stone Grey" a decent match to the Anthracite that The Wheel Specialist's do?

Plan to refurb a couple of my wheels soon and was going to try the "Rover Stone Grey"

Yeah I was going to spray something else as a tester before I did the wheels myself.

Nope, standard The Wheel Specialist Charcoal/Anthracite is a much darker shade.

Think more of a sparkling dark grey/light black.

Very close to a Ford colour. I re did my centre caps when i had a set done from laptab, cant for the life of me remember what it was called though

It's quite close I'd imagine. I've never seen the 2 together to compare, so only have my memory of the wheels I painted in ford graphite grey compared to the wheel specialist shade.

Yeah it's off the website It always looks lighter on thin spoked wheels.

+1, got some paint from them for my spare wheel that I repaired some kerbing, only had to spray the repaired parts as it was a perfect match

Ahh I didn't get anthracite from the wheel specialist as in person it looked really dark, I went for the optional steel grey.

Hmm, I'll definitely be doing test sprays on something before I do my wheels then, don't fancy having mis matched wheels lol
