..for my turninis, i thought a refurb was the only option but after giving them a proper scrub with wonder wheels I managed to get all the yellowy tar stuff out of every corner!:) I'm chuffed with the results:approve: they look like when i first got them!

I've heard good things about this product.

What I would say is don't use it too often. It can strip too much off.

yeh its only the second time in over 2 years that i've used it. I really must keep on top of my wheels cos there so hard to clean if neglected!

Once you get them clean get some sealant on them to protect them for longer. I did mine - can't remember the exact name of the product - but the stuff is great, dont need to use specialist wheel cleaners anymore - a hose down and a sponge brings them up gleaming.

just use a good wax etc, that what i do :approve:

Poorboys wheel sealant is good stuff for alloys once they are cleaned. To clean i have read in other forums that Meguiars Wheel Brightener is getting some good reports

I think you can get the wheel sealant from serious performance cause my mate has used to and got it from said company

Jesus mate, I'd only consider a refurb if I had kerb marks (which mine do), there's an easy solution to getting that sorta s**t off, glad you found one that works.
