Thinking about these seats for my 182...Opinions?

I sat in some at the show, and in a 197 they had a Donnington at the RWS. Not sure I really like them, they feel really thin and a bit flimsy at the top bit and fabric was hanging out from under the belt guides in the 197 so quality was a bit suss.

They felt like they would hold you well and felt supportive, I guess they are a compromise as they do recline. I would probably plump for some proper fixed buckets if it was my money. A few mates have track dat cars with various seats in and all felt a a lot more firm and did not had the slighty flimsy feel the Recaros back part had. If I was getting something that would recline I would proabaly get the Trendlines.

You know you want these ....

probably re-mortgage money though. :(

i'm still undecided tbh, i think i'll have a sit in some when they spec up a 197 at my mates dealer.

i just really like the look of them. i would order them in black and grey with Renaultsport stitched in blue

From sitting in the Recaro Trendlines and having purchased Cobra Misanos, I have to say the Misanos are rock solid in the support they provide. Much better than the Recaros imo.

When going from the cacky 182 seats to the Cobras, it took a few hours for my back to adjust, but I find my posture over all much better now. Support is legendary through bends and allows you to take advantage of all the handling finesse 182 has to offer.
