Does anyone know what bits I need and where I can get them from to convert my 02m 6spees vag gearbox from a hydraulically activated clutch to a cable mechanism?

Starring to think its the only way forward with my car at the moment

Why do you want to?

Because I'm having trouble retrofitting a hydraulic system to my car. It seems an easier task to modify the box to accept a cable

I think its only the o2j you can do that with.

You would have to cut a whole in the bell housing, there's nothing for the fork to rest on inside and no bracket on the bell housing to hold the cable there. It will be less hassle to retrofit a hydraulic system and imo better overall anyway.

Nope entirely different. All 02m's run hydraulic concentric slave's. The 02j has an external slave working on a clucth fork.

LOL, erm, yeh you could say that. Im a bit of a hauder when it comes to car parts.

Just use a remote master cylinder and keep the cable pedal.

Your options realistically are:
Swap down to the box you can easily cable convert
Remote the master cylinder
Replace your pedals with a pedal box


Converting your box is going to be WAY more hassle than any of the above.

It was an option if the box could be converted. I have a master cylinder in the bulkhead but no means of attaching it to the pedal properly
