Three Clios, a great engine and a Vee do Wales. (Very pic heavy)

Just got back from a great weekend visiting the greatest driving roads in Wales with some great mates. Thanks Tim. and Sharky for preparing the routes and to Cub and Christopher. for their great company. It began with the four of us heading to Llangollen on Friday night for the staging post for the weekend. We enjoyed some fantastic runs on both sides of the Evo triangle on Saturday and some fantastic roads as we meandered our way through the valleys to Aberystwyth for our Saturday night stop. On Sunday we were joined by Sharky in the Vee. The great engine is a reference to my Type R as that was mentioned as its most noteworthy
feature. Enough from me and on with the pictures.

Great pics, Pete - and a big thank you for the invitation to join you all! I had a thoroughly enjoyable day (albeit a long one) and, by the time I got home, managed to burn through £108 of Shell's finest! Again, thanks to Tim, Pete, Oli and Chris for the invite and I hope we can do it again soon

I set off very early to make my way up to mid-Wales to meet the guys. Due to the clear roads I arrived a little early so took the opportunity to grab a few pics of the Vee and the reservoir next door to where I was parked.

(It was a bit hazy, hence not the best photo)

It wasn't long before the guys arrived...

...and away we went Heading south-ish.

The locals came over to say hello...

748 miles, was a truly awesome trip. Best road driving I have done for a long time. Just road after road of decent Tarmac, views and challenging bends.

Lol! Pretty much. You get used to it. My eyeline for the road is downwards, so it doesn't get in the way.

You should see me in an mx5. I look like Donkey Kong on Mariokart!

Chris is working on putting another thread with the route and maybe some vids up as I type, so it should appear in the next few hours hopefully. The route was wonderful, covered a lot of ground in two days but time for stopping off and enjoying the view / some lunch aswell. Great work from @Tim. and SharkyUK in planning in it

Cheers for the comments. Great pics Andy. Was a great route and tested the mettle of man and machine. Not only were the views amazing but the soundtrack we put down was amazing. Apart from Oli's squealing like a pig brakes and Chris' imploding exhaust baffles rattle.

Yeah, it does work well. Kinda stealthy... if you ignore the fact that it turns so many heads; hence... it isn't really stealthy at all! I'd buy it...
