Throttle body question regarding clio 172

Hi all,

I believe the throttle body on my clio 172 needs replacing.
If I purchase a 2nd one and fit it myself will I need to have anything re-programmed or mapped for it to run correctly?

Apologies if that's a stupid question.

It looks like a fairly simple job. Has anyone done this? Are there any complications?

It's easy mate, whip the airbox and hose out, unplug the connector, 4 bolts on the throttle body and remove fitting is just the opposite

As everyone else has said, take old one off, put new one on. Fin.

Make sure the one that comes with it has a gasket, or make sure you keep the one off your old one. IIRC when I took my TB off, the gasket was still stuck on the car

Thank you for all your replies. Sorry for the delayed response!
I have purchased one tonight so I will be fitting over the next week or so. In the mean time I,ve cleaned up the old one and she seems much better.
