I have just had the RAC out this evening, as my car was going into limp home mode, the electrical light came on...
turned the car off, and back on again and now the exhaust emission light was on.
Rac came out, plugged it in and it said there was an error with the throttle position sensor.
He explained how it was the unit attached to the accelerator pedal - and this would need replacing
When he fully depressed the accelerator it would only go to 65% of its maximum load, so he said it was under what it should have been showing.
Does this sound right?
