Hi, i am trying to source the source of my ticking noise.
My cambelt/aux belt was changed last summer so i thought i need to recheck it. I did not notice it before, but my dephaser was a rattlecan so nothing else was heard
But today i noticed its ticking, then it goes away for a while (minute or so), then it comes back.
The ticking frequency is stable from idle to around 1100rpm (it ticks around 8 times a second), and above 1100 rpm it doubles (did not rev much as in higher revs i cant hear it anyway).
So I am happy that hopefully its not belt related.
May it be the carbon canister??
