ticking noise

When i drove on the motorway yesterday i noticed that there is a ticking noise comming from the passenger side (for me the driversside).
The ticking gets faster the faster i drive, it's not PRM related.
I thought it migt be the charcoal cannister but thats on the other side isn't it.
So do any of you guys have any idea, cus it's doin my head in.

Do a search for carbon canister . Seems like its a pretty common problem but nothing to worry about .

Carbon cannister is on the other side of the car and i'm only able to hear the noise from the left side of the car.
