Timing belt Aux belt

Right i need to sort this out once and for all. My car has been in for the timing belt to be done and aux belt. Had a phone call today saying that Renault have said that the timing belt doesnt need changing until 72 or seventy summat thousand miles!? Is this right? My timing belt has never been changed and my car is on 42k. Aux belt has never been changed either. Someone please tell me what i need to do

how old is your car? its 72k or 5years

Timing belt 60k or 5 years

Aux Belt 36k or 3 years (it can be B-A-D if you dont have this done) it runs the aircon & power steering pumps IIRC.

Depends on age should be 72k or 5 years for the cambelt and 36k for the aux belt. I'd chnage it before then though.

well i will change timing belt at around 52ish i think. Aux belt has not been changed
