timing belt cost

Thats expensive but thats due to the high labour rate used.
5.1 hours for the cambelt an the kits £140 or so a dealership should replace the belt as it should never be reused and has to come off to do the cambelt.
My opion is that expensive I'd personaly do the service myself but depends how long you want to kep the car plus have a stamped service book etc.

Got mine done last Tuesday, Rocket Centre in Blackburn, top job, did aux belt cam belt and service.

Was on the 172 Cup, he does my Williams too.
I got a good price as we are friends, best ringing them and asking to be honest, im unsure how much they would charge, like edde says though its a 5hr book time.
