Tints done.

Car  Black 172 Sport
Well guy's, only had the car a week and the first mod was to get the windows tinted.

I always have this done on my cars, 1. Security 2. Cut down sun glare 3. Looks good.

Well i didn't want to go too dark what with the police cracking down on tints in this area so i decided to go as light as possible.

What do you reckon guy's ?

same as mine, needs lowering BADLY.

Yes i know, it was a toss up between tints and lowering but i'm still not sure what to do with the lowering side of things yet ie, Coilovers, just springs etc etc.

The percentage is the lightest one they do, think its 50%. Only cost £170.

it will be a 50% as thats the lightest they do.

i was contemplating doing exactly the same on mine, but wasnt sure if it would look like a van but i have to say i really like the effect, and will deffo get mine done.

i think thats lowering will really finish it off and bring all your mods together :)

Cheers fella, was worried it would look wrong but i'm really pleased with the look, like you say, lowered and should finish it off nicely.

Fronts are done the same as the rears, the place i had them done did mention darker grades on the rears, then darker on the back window but i stuck with the same all round.

Looks good. I'm thinking about going for a lighter tint coz my tints are realy dark at the moment.

What splitter do you have?

they look gd,was going 2 get mine done but my m8 got 3 points and a £60 fine in chemsford so changed my mind,

why?!

You dont usually get points for tints, usually just told to take them off, and a fine at worst?

They are cracking down on tints now, thats why i went as light as poss. Can still get done for the front tints as i've heard there illegal on your drivers/passenger doors now but i drive carefully and try not to attract attention from the boys in blue.

go for coilovers... nice tints tho m8.

what wheels are they, i quite like them... shiny lip!

they were v.dark, reconed they were 2 dangerous, he could'nt belive they gave him points he had 2 peel dem off as well!

go for coilovers...

What coilovers would i get for my 1.2 ? I'm so confused with the whole lot. I had a 60mm drop on my BM, but they were just springs and the ride was rough !

I don't want that on the Clio i know there's loads out there, does the price vary alot ??

The rims are made by Kosei, they were already on there when i bought her. Don't know what ones they are though, sorry.

give john @ 2modified.com a ring, he'll give you all the info u need about coilovers, very helpful. I've got fk coilovers on mine, and i'm extremely happy with them, the ride isnt too hard and it handles like its on rails. i paid 425 (from john) fitting was about 50 quid fro fred (not sure if his prices have changed now though ;)) and yuo will need to have it properly tracked at around 75 quid. definetly worth it though. I'm also lowered 80mm and dont have any trouble with speed humps etc etc.
