Tiny bit of oil in air filter chamber. Normal or a problem?

Just replaced my air filter for a nice K&N one only to find a very small amount of oil in the metal chamber below. Is a tiny amount of oil like this normal or does it suggest gasket on the way out? Thanks. :approve:

Thats very good news thanks. Its been a great little car for the 6 months I've owned it so far. Not a single problem and responds well to cheapish mods. 1996 mk1 Clio 1.2L. Paid a little under a grand which was perhaps on the high side, but its been worth it.

Can't for the life of me find the drainage plug for the cooling system tho! Haynes manual says its at the rear of the engine block next to the drivebelt. Why would they put the plug there instead of the bottom of the radiator? Maybe I'll be able to see it better when my jack and stands arrive.

There is no Drainage plug on the 1.2 d7f cooling system. Just whack a hose off top of rad and off bottom off rad and run water throught it if you want to flush it.

i had oil in my air box, so i stripped my engine n cleaned it all out. now its running fine. However im not sure to put an induction kit back on because i think that may have caused the problem.
