Today's efforts - Engine tidy up

As its boiling out (29 Degrees here) it seemed ideal to sort out a job I have been meaning to do for ages.

After:

Cleaned it up and a few coats of High Temp metallic grey followed by a couple of coats of High Temp lacquer.

Finish is not the best, but it certainly looks better than it did pre paint!

And a few random photos after a rinse down, the Auto Finess Tough Coat on the car makes it so easy just to rinse down.

Cheers Dan, it's not as clean close up as it looks in the photos, plenty of time and money required until I am happy.

Think next up is a new bonnet (possibly a glass fibre one with aero catches) to get rid of the dents, then alloy refurb in a nice bright silver and sort a few bodywork bits out here and there.

The cars quite low, maybe why the wheels look big?

The number plate was a 'fat finger' mistake when ordering them lol I forgot the space in the middle.

Looks good i like silver cups. Engine bay looks tidy too.

And I bet the paint smell through air con is annoying. I get the smell of smoke in mine if someone in car in front is smoking.

Paint smell seems to be dropping off thankfully.

Pity I can't picture it properly, I hadn't realised but the flake in the paint is awesome on the cam cover.
