Tomtom one xl in dynamique screen

hello all

i was just wandering would tomtom pick up the signal and work normally in the clio dynamique 53 tinted windscreen.

i think its a heat tint, i,m not quite sure tbh, some can give me an explantion on that would be great and if the tomtom works in it.

i got a tinted windscreen and tom tom xl , works no problem

It works ok takes a bit to lock on but gets full signal.

The latest TT's with the sirf star 3 chipset gets a signal quite quickly, i think there is also an update from TT for quicker acquisition of gps signal.

My Garmin doesnt work in my 52 plate Dynamique, have to stick it on the window, not windscreen :s

It works ok takes a bit to lock on but gets full signal.

needs a weekly update of QuickGPSfix to get quicker initial satellite lock.
