Clio Dynamique 1.4 16V
Just noticed today that my engine has too much oil in it.
Is this bad for the engine?

It's supposed to be full...
should be just under top mark on dipstick if it's more drain it and do it again... it'll only cost you a sump nut washer if you use the same oil.
Dont even use the computer, go and check your dipstick
Unscrew the filter slightly instead
Oil needs to be at the right level to maintain the correct pressure.
Just check you dipstick. Cant imagine anyone would put too much oil in. Also, seems simple but make sure your cars parked on flat ground when your checking it.
its suppost to be half.
imagine trying to run through water waist high or shoulder high (waist high being normal)
same principles apply, its harder for your engine. depends by how much extra you have in there though

you should check your oil once every week or 2, its good practice, and for 30sec work could save you from destroying your engine
Too much oil makes the engine slower. Mine was a few mm over and it was gutless.
yes mateLol no it isnt lol! you are stating that at any time there are parts of the engine dipping into the sump (excluding obviously the oil pump) and touching the oil (probably reffering to the crank). THis doesnt happen, the danger is when its filled too much and the oil level rises above the baffles, and STARTS to touch the crank e.t.c.
