Hi im Rich (by name not by nature), im over 30, had a few hot hatches over my time, and final got myself a stupidly quickly Renault.
I've always fancied a Renault since the 5 turbo, and now I have ola, an artic blue, (the metallic one!!) 182, 79k on the clock and im told the cambelt and pulleys are done, there's a sticker under the bonnet by goodyear with 76k written on, so im hoping it was then.
she wasn't mint by any standard but not a shed either, a good snow foam clay bar a couple of coats of polish and some decent wax and shes looking shiny again, interior was in good nick so just condition the seats and a good hoover, spark plugs, air filter and of course oil-flush oil and filter change.
and she's sounding perfect, needs 4 new shoes! (any ideas, don't want to spend a lot really) oh and brakes, think these are the original discs!
lights are sh1te, standard i've learnt, more elbow grease needed..
and finally she's a bit woolly on the steering, could be my snow tyre and semi slick set up, up front tho!!! or possibly bushes, or both, i'll gamble with both.. So any recommendations on where to start replacing bushes? ie which ones are a best bet knackered and which ones are alright to leave and have a few pints instead.
