Took my Clio and Ferrari out to the Nurburgring this weekend

Thanks for comments. I love cars and am proper petrolhead. They are not all expensive either. I TOTALLY love my Clio and will not be going crazy modding it. It's just great as it is and want to keep it pure and close to what Renaultsport wanted it to be!
Some more pics as people seem to like them. Really like the friendly vibe on here by the way. I like people and forums that appreciate all types of cars and are not blinkered by the one they own...

The ex editor of Redline 'Renton' is my best mate. We grew up together so the car was always in the magazine for years. We did originally buy the car half each but that soon changed as costs started getting silly. It NEVER blew an engine though. quaife Gearboxes and other transmission parts.... Yes! Alot! Reyland built engine was mint! Proper thing!
My Westfield is at Reylands now... Gonna be [word filtered] fast when it comes back!
He is going out to the ring on 12th June. I can't make it as i am in south Africa for the world cup... After my rave reviews of it, he is borrowing my Clio for the trip now!!!!!

it's just a 996turbo. Had it ages now. Great alrounder. It's got a DMS exhaust and DMS remap and few other bits and bobs. it's about 520bhp with SOOO much low down grunt! It's got bigger 6pot brakes and kw v3 manthey spec coilovers and techart wheels

So pleased that my Clio had a cliosport sticker in rear window when I bought it... Because of that I joined here and asked who should set it up. I member called inferno pm'd me mark fish's details and I am REALLY glad he did. Massive thanks to inferno

Those piccys were when it had a T34 on it... probably 380-390bhp.
Its now having a bigger GT30 stuck on at Reyland for more OOOOMMMPH!!! hoping for around 430bhp+
Should be finished next week. You are welcome to come over for a ride in it or I will take you out on a trackday if you like?

I do trackdays all over though.
I love taking people on passenger rides! or letting them drive. I like sitting in with inexperienced people on track as well. I am no Schumacher but I have had alot of tuition over the years from race drivers and coaches and I really like to pass on what I have learnt.
Bedford is my fav place. You can REALLY push the cars safely there.
any pics of your dads one? I love looking at pics of Westys. They are all so different.

Great collection I like the turbo shape of the 996 but the headlights spoil it, the 997 got the front spot on but I prefer the 996 styling side on.
My boss has a white 997 turbo, it's not that pretty compared with most other colours..
