eh????????

there's the lower bit that goes in through the rear beam from underneath, then theres the lock nut which goes over that from above, then the adjustable platform screws in from above, the female allen key shape is in the bottom of this

no need for the socket. i actually did mine the other day with one of those fancy self locking spanners...making sure i didnt touch the treads of course ;)

yeah thats what i done when i fitted mine..

i dont think mine are all the way down, i couldnt seem to 'hammer' the bottom part through the axle part far enough

Cheers for the advice, i did get them wound all the way down after taking the little grubber screws out to do so. Looks good and handles well but over rough and bumpy fast b roads, there is an occasional squeaking/clunking noise from the rear of the car ! So was just gonna raise the rear by maybe 10mm to lessen the strain. Saw on some search threads that people had had strange clonking noises from no washers fitted, everything seems in order with mine so any other possible causes ? (only happens when driving hard on bumpy surfaces)

No doesnt sound like rubbing and im only on standard 16" turinis so wouldnt expect it to rub. Definitley sounds like a suspension noise. Could it be something eg exhaust hitting the rear axle as its alot lower then standard ?
Taking it in on monday to where i had them fitted to check it out, hopefully no charge !! :nono:
