Top mount nuts coming loose

Has anyone else had issues with the new style top mounts coming loose?

A couple of times now I've taken the first nut and top hat off to find the new style nut underneath only finger tight.

I've checked installation and torque settings and all is fine.

I hate top mounts. If only the pure Motorsport ones didn't transmit so much road noise

torque settings? what torque setting? buzz gun FT = not coming loose

Even after using a buzz gun, two weeks later they're loose.

The new design is worse than the old ones. You got any of the old spacers/nuts lying around Fred?

really? I've never had a problem with them, don't have any old bits as we just bin them

Yep, the f*****s keep just coming loose. One side rattles like hell too as it doesn't sit down on the top bearing before it locks out on the thread on the damper. There a couple of mm gap.

Maybe just a dodgy batch from Renault but bloody annoying all the same.

I'm half tempted to try and mod some pure Motorsport ones to incorporate some damping instead as they are great, just noisy
