Torque for wheel bolts - 172 Ph1

I thought the torque setting for the wheels was 77 lb/ft. Matey at the tyre place thinks this is too low. Does anyone know if 77 isn't right?

i do mine to about 100, as thats what the rac man told me once

I do mine to about 95. It might be ok, but I wouldn't do mine to only 77 anyway.

Thanks, I've just found it now on dialogys. Helpfully they quote it on dialogys in deca newtonmeters. Works out to be 77.5 lb/ft.
