  Mk2 Ph1 1.2 8v

get a haynes manual, mine is in the car otherwise id have been able to tell you.

just tighten it up until it feels as tight was when you took it off, lol

tried that cant get a haynes manual for mine as you can only get them from renault as the 1.216v is not covered as part of it.

true , but if i was going to buy one it makes sense to get the one for my model. any way if any one knows then let me know.

my point was, anyone with a mk2 clio haynes manual will be able to tell you. Even a wee trip to halfords and see if theres any manuals sitting open (usually happens)

my other point was, torque settings arent the be all and end all, youll need a long bar to take the nut off, use the long bar to put it back on and youll be fine.

Going from changing my alloys at the Renault garage, the guy said that they should be set at around 70.
na, its more than that

The hub nut should be set to 17.5 DaNm which in english is approx 126Lbft.

Wheel bolts are 9 DaNm in english is 65Lbft.

One daNM is 10 NM so the hub nuts are 175NM the wheel bolts 90NM.

The abreviation Da comes form the Latin word daca or ten.
