I've taken it as a work in progress, so I'm assuming there's more stickers to come to complete the look?

granted its a work in progress but i would of done the mods first then added the decals... but its your ride fella
be good with decent race seats in and some stripping
Still loads to do, I just couldnt resist applying them tbh, I think the main Clio Cup stripe will look good, I'm still undecided about the side decals....I think with more 'going on', once more have been applied, it wont look so 'chav' as I have started to realise lol. I have tried to remove the rear seats but didnt have enough time to work out how they're bolted in in the middle of the upright.......will be fitting my Recaro next month and that I look forward to!
as said above.....still undecided on them, whether or not to remove them. They wernt that expensive so not too fussed....

I wasnt sure whether to sticker her, wanted to do something different to the masses of shiny, debadged, colour-coded clones.......not that I dont like them, some look amazing, just liked to be different, hence potentially awfull stickers lol.

Matter of opinion really.........in my defense I havent ruined anything, EVERYTHING (literally) I have done to the car is reversable. All the sprayed parts I have a set of original coloured ones stored, I have the original silver turinis (not for sale btw!! lol), the stickers are removeable, the orginal springs are in a box, the drivers seat to be replaced by a new Recaro will be put in the attic.....even the standard head unit is in a box to put back in one day......all the bits taken off will be stored. If and when I sell her she will be a completely standard Cup again.....
Dont take the abuse to heart mate, not my cup of tea but for some reason i like it.
Its hard to pull something like this off and i reckon you done a pretty damn good job
Cheers Ben, I half expected the slating that seems to have insued, always seems to happen when someone does something different or against the grain on this forum (I'm surprised I've not heard any 'silvervision' comments yet lol)......its not taken to heart
tbh I like what I have done so I'm not too fussed what people think......this thread was more to let people have a look at what I have done, not for opinions (opens can of worms)......thanks for your positive feedback tho (and the 'negative' stuff or reccomendations, it has been taken into consideration)......wait till its finished till you make a judgement tho.....there are many stickers to come lol!! it could look awful.....but stickers can be removed!The sticker set I bought was for the 197 Clio Cup Motorsport car that Renault produce, granted mine is a 172, but I thought I'd give it a try!
I like the idea of having the side wrapped though, at the FCS I was facinated by the RSTuning and Ktec cars' decals....possibly what gave me the idea of faffing with mine......I'm quite aware there is room for adjustment with my car, try different things etc. I have a collection of pics I have collected of track-stickered clios for reference, the finished product may look completely different to how she looks now!
Need no interior + Full cage / Buckets and the typicals before it acceptable for the stickers IMO.
They look well applied though
They.....errr.......took a while to apply. Very fiddley, esp the checker flag part! Had loads of small bubbles when they were first applied, I 'pricked and squeegied' most of them, but then was away in the states with work for 3 weeks and when I came back the bubbles had gone magically.
couple of small creases I couldnt get out, and some is a little wonky.......all part of the learning process, but think they went on ok!interior will be coming out when I fit my Recaro, am looking at a white powder coat bolt in cage......possibly the Ktec chrome one and coilovers soon too.......mainly coming down to £s available......
Not as far as I know.....mistaken identity.....?

Not a fan of the side stickers either imo, dont get the K-tec chrome cage though as that is a show cage!
Lol, i only just got a chance to respond, thought i'd do a proper job at it!
All the guys where I work like the side stickers......will give it a couple of months and see how i feel!
OMP full sized....hmm, I did like the idea of the ktec one to retain use of the rear seats......i dont have another daily runaround so is my only means of transportation and to carry passengers.....but didnt realise it was just a show one
their bolt in roll cage and subframe one looks good but at £800 is far too expensive to justify and bye bye rear bench.....I'm not keen on loosing the rear seats to be honest, I would prefer to keep them in if I can, just go for coilovers, and a non-full cage........sadly i wont be on the track every day of the week, so looking for a compromise between the two. Will prob just remove the rear for track days or when I know I wont need them......I was hoping the rear bench was a 'quick release' type, looking at the side fixings, but its not so think i'll need to hunt down a removal guide.......or just keep un-doing things till it falls out!
