i dont see the issue here at all!!

and to everyone who says they dont trust hydraulics...... how do you think the brakes in your clio work?? and it takes a lot more force to stop a car from 70mph than it does to lift 1000kgs!

Awesome!! Perfectly safe to work under that! Even if the hydraulics were to fail the rate of fall would be so slow because of how the oil drains back out of the ram.
